Privileges of Rank

Youngling

• 2 Hands on Saber
• Form 1 only
• Left-Right pattern on attacks
• Speed 1-2 only
• Flowbat only
• Standard sabers must be used by/against
• 1 inch Outer Diameter(OD) sabers.

Novice

• 1 Hand allowed
• Form 1 Only
• No restrictions on attack patterns
• Speeds 1-2&
• Flowbat/Advanced Flowbat/Obstacle Flowbat
• Standard sabers must be used by, non-standard can be used against with approval
• 1 inch Outer Diameter(OD) sabers.

Padawan/Apprentice

As Novice But:

• Can fight with and against a non-standard lightsaber type with approval
• Must select a Lightsaber Form from forms 1-5
• Gain Student Rank in Form 1
• Gain Student Rank in Chosen Form
• Can eventually test for Adept and Exemplar in Chosen Form
• Can assist with Class as requested, may request to assist.
• Speeds 1-3; Advanced Obstacle and Opposed Obstacle Flowbat

Acolyte/Knight

• As Padawan/Apprentice, but:
• Can select a new Lightsaber Form without resetting progress in others
• All speeds available
• All Flowbats Available, Combat available in-class.
• Can mentor a Padawan/Apprentice from the available pool, help run entire classes, can teach Form Lessons in any Form they have Exemplar Rank in.
• Can Produce Content for the Website and develop new Form material, to be approved by LLMMR and Founders
• Can use 7/8inch blades and sabers, excepting earlier Ranks as noted.

Lady/Lord/Master/Mistress/Regeant

• As Acolyte/Knight, PLUS:
• All Flowbats and Speeds
• Any Lightsaber can be used by/against, excepting earlier Ranks as noted.
• Develop curriculum
• Lead classes
• Judge tests
• Serve as an authority for the Order outside of class
• Lead demonstrations
• Be part of all decisions involving The Kyber Order (TKO)
• This rank is for individuals dedicated to the growth and life of The Kyber Order, rather than offering additional sabering-based privileges.
