Privileges of Rank

Youngling

• 2 Hands on Saber
• Form 1 only
• Left-Right pattern on attacks
• Speed 1-1.5 only
• Flowbat only

Novice

• 2/1 Hands on Saber
• Form 1 only
• Left-Right pattern on attacks
• Speeds 1-2; Speed 3 allowed on a case-by-case basis
• Flowbat usually, Advanced Flowbat on a case-by-case basis

Padawan/Apprentice

• 2/1 Hands on Saber
• No restrictions on attack patterns
• Can select a non-standard lightsaber type
• Select a Lightsaber Form (Forms 1, 4, and 5 currently available; Form 2 in progress; Forms 3, 6, and 7 currently unavailable)
• Speeds 2-3; Flowbat and Advanced Flowbat
• Lower speeds allowed when training with lower ranks

Acolyte/Knight

• As Padawan/Apprentice, PLUS:
• Can select a new Lightsaber Form without resetting progress in others
• All speeds available
• Flowbat, Advanced Flowbat, and Combat
• Can mentor a Padawan/Apprentice from the available pool or run classes

Lord/Master

• As Acolyte/Knight, PLUS:
• Develop curriculum
• Lead classes
• Judge tests
• Serve as an authority for the Order outside of class
• Lead demonstrations
• Be part of all decisions involving The Kyber Order (TKO)
• This rank is for individuals dedicated to the growth and life of The Kyber Order, rather than offering additional sabering-based privileges.
